Due to your participation over the years, six more scholarships were awarded in 2007.  These scholarships will assist students in completing their education at Archbishop Wood and lay the cornerstone for further education. With these scholarships the total monies awarded exceeds $66,000.00.

Six $1,000 scholarships in 2004 went to:

The funds for these scholarships were (as future ones will be) generated from the Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund. The fund has been in place since the first outing and all proceeds from the outings are directed there. The fund has reached an astounding $175,000.00 endowment with the interest from the fund subsidizing the scholarship money.

This year, as in the past, the entire entrance fee will go to pay for the golf, lunch, prizes, dinner, etc.

ALL of the proceeds from hole sponsorships and the other activities will go directly to the Scholarship fund.
